DIAMOND BAR (CBSLA.com) — A high school band teacher is being held on $300,000 bail on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl.

Albert Anthony Morales was arrested at his Diamond Bar home Tuesday after the victim, who is now 22 years old, reported the crime on Jan. 29, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

According to authorities, Morales met the teen while he was working as a band instructor at Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton from 2004 to 2009.
