UVa. to Debut Water Purification Tablet
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — A water purification tablet that could enhance the quality of life for millions of people in developing countries is making its official debut at the University of Virginia.
Called MadiDrop, the ceramic tablet can disinfect water for up to six months when it is placed in a vessel from which water is poured.
The disk was developed by PureMadi, a nonprofit U.Va.
