Philadelphia Jobs Commission Submits Its Study to Mayor Nutter
By John Ostapkovich
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Mayor Michael Nutter today took possession of a hefty report on solving a long-term problem: jobs in the city.
The report from the Philadelphia Jobs Commission was ordered nearly two years ago, when citizens approved creating the 17-member panel.
The 90-page report lays out 15 recommendations -- from continuing the commission's work to providing employment subsidies -- and Mayor Nutter had only just gotten a briefing on it.
