Talent contest winner to perform at music festival
The overall winner of this year’s Surrey Schools Have Talent competition will get to perform at a summer music festival featuring superstars Jamiroquai and Bryan Adams.
The lucky performer will appear at Magic Summer Live, a two-day festival expected to attract around 40,000 people over the weekend of July 13 and 14, at Guildford’s Stoke Park.
Radio presenter Angie Greaves from festival sponsor Magic 105.4 said: “I am thrilled to be involved with Surrey Schools Have Talent. It’s always exciting to see young talent emerge and even more exciting to add them to the already stellar line up at Magic Summer Live.”
Surrey Schools Have Talent is open to children aged seven to 16 from all schools across the county. It forms part of the county council’s P&G Surrey School Games programme. To enter youngsters should send in a video of themselves performing by April 29.
