ISSUE: what happens to a media industry dependent on charging for content?

The internet was created for all nodes to be equal, everything shared being accessible to everyone, now although the internet is being used for a slightly different purpose than that for which it was created, it essentially is free for all. The main aspect of the internet is that all decision making resides with the nodes. As the internet has come into the hands of every individual, naturally unforeseen problems are bound to occur. Where the internet converges with capitalist economy is where we find our example lies.

Like everything else, for the last few years newspapers have been moving online for convenience and continued readership. However this has caused some grievances for the newspaper industry because it is traditionally a media that relies on advertising for revenue.
