Shootout At Wadala makers apologise, Punjab protesters rejects it
Recently many shows of the recently released gangster-based movie ‘Shootout At Wadala’ were cancelled in certain regions of Punjab – such as Moga, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Bathinda and Amritsar. Bhartiya Valmiki Dharam Samaj (BVDS), based in Punjab, complained that certain dialogues in the film have hurt their community.
Reportedly the producers of the film have sent a letter to BVDS and have apologized that if in any manner they have offended their sentiments. Balaji Productions have also said in the letter that they are ready to censor the objectionable content.
