Deep in the well

Jonathan Kozol’s book, Amazing Grace: The Lives of the Children and the Conscience of a Nation, is a magnificent look into the harsh reality of America. Now I read this in college for an Education class and hadn’t come face to face with the cruel treatment the poor face in America before my reading this and it opened my eyes. This is a good read for everyone as it provides a look at a serious problem that still exists in America,  teachers and educators  are sure to like it since it shows the abject poverty that one might be working within the teaching profession.
