Twenty-nine-year-old Erika Brannock of Towson, Maryland is the last person injured in the April 15 explosions to be released from the hospital. Three people were killed and more than 260 injured.

“I’m leaving a family behind, that’s what they’ve become, but I’m really excited to get home and see my friends and my family,” Brannock told reporters outside the hospital.

Leaving the hospital and on her way home, Brannock says she’ll never forget the outpouring of love and support she received here in Boston. “It’s been an inspiration. Every letter I’ve gotten has helped me through this and made me stronger,” Brannock said.
